I have been hooked on horses since I was two and I started to follow jump racing from about the age of eight when The Dikler thrust his white blazed face across the winning line in the 1973 Cheltenham Gold Cup.
In the mid 1980's, Newton Abbot provided me with my first live racing experiences and this was where I took my first racing photos. Years later my profession has taken me across the south west covering my local tracks and point to point courses . I now attend Exeter, Cheltenham, Chepstow, Newbury, Newton Abbot, Wincanton and Sandown. I also cover the Grand National meeting at Aintree and the Punchestown Festival in Ireland.
I also attend many point to points across the Devon/Cornwall region. Official photographer to Ideford Arch and Buckfastleigh.
Horse racing is about grit and determination and about precision and passion. I hope some of that is reflected in my work.
